Our venue is nestled amidst one of the most distinctive landscapes in the country, offering a refreshing change of pace and a timely opportunity to reset, refocus, and align as we navigate another pivotal year for our industry. This year's SBTM features an exciting lineup of speakers and educational content designed for your enjoyment and participation in parallel to our normal, highly engaging and well attended committee meetings. These meetings are where the magic happens and the purest reflection of how our community creates real impact on codes and standards that favor the concrete reinforcing steel market. Spring meetings have always been a cornerstone of CRSI’s rhythm, serving as the platform where ideas transition from strategy to execution, technical direction sharpens, and collaboration across committees sets the tone for the year ahead. In Napa, we will continue to advance CRSI’s mission as the unchallenged technical voice of steel reinforced concrete. Our focused committee work, practical technical discussions, and candid dialogues on market forces will be pivotal in shaping our future. The agenda will address the most pressing issues for your businesses and the industry at large, including evolving codes and standards, constructability, sustainability, workforce and safety initiatives, transportation and infrastructure, and the growing role of digital tools and automation in fabrication, detailing, and construction. Equally important, this meeting will provide ample space for members to connect, strengthen relationships, exchange perspectives, and build consensus on CRSI’s future direction. Whether you are a long-standing leader within the Institute or attending a CRSI Spring Meeting for the first time, your participation is invaluable. These meetings remain one of the most effective ways to influence CRSI’s priorities, contribute your expertise, and help shape outcomes that benefit the entire reinforced concrete community. I personally encourage you to reach out to your newer employees who are just getting involved with CRSI and have them register as a NextGen participant at a $200 savings (off the full-meeting, early registration only). These employees are the future of your organization and the future of CRSI volunteers and leadership. I look forward to welcoming you to Napa this April and to the productive conversations, collaboration, and momentum that our Spring Business & Technical Meeting consistently fosters. Lou Parous President and CEO Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute NEXTGEN IS NOT NECESSARILY WHAT YOU THINK The “Next Generation Engagement Group” is open to those new to the industry or new to their roles supporting CRSI at their respective companies. This is just one way we can better engage with new attendees at CRSI meetings and get the “Next Generation” of your employees involved. Member companies are requested to identify at least one “Next Generation” employee to attend the Spring Business & Technical Meeting and register that individual with Alli Strahs ([email protected]) by the early registration date of March 13, 2026. Best of all, there is a special registration rate for these attendees of $1,095 – a $200 discount! (Please note this discount is applicable to a maximum of three meetings per individual and only for early bird, full meeting registration; one- or two-day registrations do not qualify for the discount.) Next Generation attendees are asked to attend the special discussion/session on Monday, April 13, at 9:00 am, where they will hear information on the meeting’s structure, committee charges, and tips on how to get involved. Following the weeklong immersion in industry efforts, they will be requested to participate in a survey to assess areas of interest and opportunities for improvement.
